I am David J. Pawlikowski, owner of Bear Paw Arms and operate this business with my wife Sandy, who is my assistant, best friend and spell cheker in Mount Pleasant, PA. I am a non stocking dealer who specializes in class III weapons. Although, I have only been a licensed FFL / SOT since 2004, I have been involved in class III weapons since 1996 and involved in the shooting sports since I was about 7-8 years old. I am, as Henry Bowman would call, a gun enthusiast.

In addition to my firearms interest, I also dabble in taxidermy and web site design. But, I must admit that I am far better at taxidermy than web design, see my bear on the home page. Designing this site is and has been more pleasurable than cleaning a bunch of dirty gunsJ Yea, right….

I will also admit that I am not an expert in all firearms, but promise to do every thing I can to satisfy my clients and resolve their issues promptly. The firearm business is, after all, a service industry first, and foremost. That is why you will receive a response from me usually within 24 hours, seven days a week.

Being a non stocking dealer, I can offer items at much lower prices due to the lack of overhead other bigger dealers have.

I also would take a moment to thank a very special friend who helped me through the start up and license application process and who has acted as my mentor many times.  Thanks Ray.
